The Mid-America Telecommunications Association (MATA) has been forced to close our doors.  MATA was formed to help users address their common issues with the rapidly evolving technology of telecommunications.

   Part of that evolution was the migration from analog voice centric to data centric architectures, and with that the migration from a Communications Manager to a multi-functional Network Administrator.  The trend to outsource the voice network management to network vendors and/or making the Communications Manager functions an additional part of the Network Administrator means there is an ever decreasing pool on users to be members.  Without the user membership, we have no association.

  We will leave this website up, with the archived presentations available, for as long as we can in order to provide these resources to interested parties.
